Reverse Grip Bent-Over Rows

This exercise is excellent for developing overall back strength.

Steps

  1. Keeping your knees bent and your back straight, pick up the barbell. Grasp the bar with a reverse or underhand grip.
  2. Slowly pull the barbell to your abs. Keep your elbows tucked in to your sides. Pause at the top of the exercise then lower the barbell in a controlled manner.

Tips

  • You must keep your back straight when you do this exercise. If your back starts to round, just bend your knees a little more to keep it straight.
